stone bridge 28mm
thingiverse
**Update 04 June 2018. I was tinkering with this file while working on a modular river system; I wanted to incorporate this bridge as an optional piece, and I was fiddling with the ramps when I thought "What the heck?"... The ones I had loaded previously were not the right size. This file was tricky due to its massive size but I do apologize for any inconvenience. These new ramps (ramps 2 2 v.2 file) should fit better, although some trimming and filling may be required. The new river system will be uploaded within the next few days. This is a three-part print of a terrain piece for any 28mm game table, but I built it specifically for Bolt Action. I started with the original file, expanded and widened it to allow a span of five inches, while still fitting my print bed (210mm). I used cutting features on Tinkercad to try to get the ramps that go on each end to mesh, but after the test print, even though they showed a gap in the program, I still had to do some surgery with an exacto blade to get them to fit. I glued the ramps to the bridge with epoxy, then filled the gap with Tamiya putty. Next, I primed it, painted with a medium to dark grey, applied a gloss varnish, did a wash, dry brushed lighter grey and some medium brown. I used PVA glue to attach a sand / kitty litter mix on the roadway, and the flock on the side. Finally, I sprayed it with a dead flat spray varnish.
