Stone Bowl Fragment or Lamp. XCB-105-3361. 100-400 CE\nXCB-105 Adamagan, named for walrus hunters' place in Aleut language, is situated at Morzhovoi Bay's head, western Alaska Peninsula. The massive village has multiple occupations and was the largest Arctic village when occupied from 100 to 400 CE with an estimated population of 1000 people. Additional occupations dated 1700-2200 BCE, 600-1000 BCE, and 1100-900 CE are also present.\nThe Western Alaska Peninsula artifacts result from research conducted under grants NSF 1139266, NSF 1321411, NSF 9996415, NSF 9996372, NSF 9814086, and NSF 9630072. H. Maschner is the Principal Investigator. Artifacts were scanned with either a Faro Edge Arm or Minolta Vivid 9i. Processed in Polyworks or Geomagic. 8-2 photos used for texture in Geomagic Wrap. Original digitizing work done at Id St Univ's IVL. Subsequent processing and publication completed at Global Digital Heritage.
