Stone Arch - Photogrammetry Test 3

I strolled through one of my hometown's parks just a few days ago, snapping photos to hone my scanning skills. This stone arch is one of my more successful shots. However, I couldn't track down any information about it, so I'm left in the dark about its significance. Edit: Further research reveals that this monument honors Julio Somoza, a local historian born and raised in 1848. Kudos to Miguel Bandera for shedding some light on this mystery!
