The delta 3D printer is designed based on three vertical drive towers similar to the Rostock model, specifically for 1.75mm ABS filament. Constructed with CNC-milled 1/2" 2024-T351 aluminum plate and 1/2" ABS sheet, it employs LM12UU linear bearings, 12mm diameter 13" rods, Nema 23 stepper motors, HTD 3m belts and pulleys, a Sanguinololu V1.3a controller, StepStick A4988 from Botronicz, a 24V 13A Philips power supply, preloaded Traxxas 5347 rod ends, a 7" diameter, 1/2" thick heated aluminum print surface, a 0.35mm stainless steel print nozzle, and runs on modified Marlin firmware.
