Stocking Holder for Mantle
prusaprinters

Not terribly decorative, but it does the trick of holding a stocking over the mantle without damaging the wood. It's not critical that it "pinches" the wood, it really works just by making sure the loop of the stocking is held underneath the mantle.

The gap distance is about 26mm, so if you want it to pinch, just scale the entire thing with your slicer.

To make it more decorative, someone should use red/green filament, and change it a few times in the print (maybe like green on the outside, and red on the inside? That would look good, I think).

Print instructions

Category: Decor Print Settings

Notes:

The thickness is 3mm, and I wanted it to be completely made of edges, so I set my slicer to have a 1.6mm outer wall thickness (cura wants wall thickness in multiples of the nozzle size).
