Stocking Holder for Mantle
thingiverse
Not overly stylish, but it gets the job done of keeping a stocking over the mantle without causing any damage to the wood. It's not crucial that it "pinches" the wood, as it really works by simply ensuring the loop of the stocking is positioned underneath the mantle. The gap distance measures about 26mm, so if you want it to pinch, just scale the entire design with your slicer. To give it a bit more flair, someone could use red or green filament and change colors a few times during the print process (maybe green on the outside and red on the inside? That would look great). Print Settings: The thickness is 3mm, and I wanted it to be completely made of edges, so I set my slicer to have a 1.6mm outer wall thickness (cura requires wall thickness in multiples of the nozzle size).
