Stock Puck from Dota 2
thingiverse
Human: I somehow managed to craft and print a puck with an extra arm without even noticing! What a lovely coincidence. My apologies to everyone who downloaded the flawed stl file. I've uploaded another one which I believe will work, but I haven't put it to the test yet. I may also edit it so he stands more securely on his front arms. In any case, I plan to print one soon as my previous models have kept getting their wings broken off in half! This is Puck from Dota 2 with no special Cosmetic Items attached. One nice thing about this model is that he stands very sturdily on his front arms and makes an excellent display piece for all the fans out there who love playing Puck as much as I do! Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't matter. Supports: Yes. Notes: I'll post a Simplify 3D factory file when I print this model again. How I Designed This I didn't design this model myself; it was taken from Valve's models on the Dota 2 Workshop. I take no credit for its original design. If you're interested in learning how to get these models, you can find the stock models in the Dota 2 Workshop. To turn those models into printable versions, follow this guide. Sadly, it is currently not possible to extract files from Dota 2 due to the switch to Source 2 engine which locked all the models inside. As such, I won't be creating any more Dota Models anytime soon. All of my game models are built in Blender, repaired with Netfabb (They sponsor our club) and sliced with Simplify3D (they also sponsor our club) before being printed in Brandeis University's MakerLab as a member of Deis3D.(The 3D printing club at Brandeis University).
