<p>While "shorty" or “grip only” versions of the Winchester 1887 are somewhat common, the Winchester 1887 was, from the factory, available with full stock.&nbsp;</p><p>While there were various different styles over time, I chose to model my stock mostly on the style of the one found on a Winchestr 1887 in 10 gauge with the serial number 14443. The depiction of this item I found in an auction catalog of 2019, only making a slight concession to the bottom corner of the grip, which was taken directly from the original model.</p><p>Due to the size of my printer, I had to split the model. To combine the two parts, I chose to use two M6 rods of up to 20 cm in length each. These are glued in place with Epoxy, giving not only some weight to the print, but also helping with alignment and steadiness a lot.</p>
