Stock CR-10/Ender5/Ender3 fan duct
thingiverse
I've made significant improvements to my fan duct by adding a slanted component, allowing it to direct air more effectively like the original design. So far, I've experimented with various fan ducts and arrangements on my printers, including petsfang, hero me gen3, bulldog, and several others. The petsfang performed well on one of my machines, but the other setups resulted in poor airflow, even worse than the stock configuration. This custom design enables me to mount a similar fan on the opposite side, providing exceptional cooling and marking it as the best setup I've had so far. I've included images of one machine equipped with a single fan and another featuring dual fans. Additionally, I've attached the file for the small spacers used on the screws. To secure them, I employed an M3 x 16mm screw paired with a nut and drilled holes in the stock housing to accommodate the bolts. The spacers are essential for accessing the rear screw. In my previous setup, I relied on double-sided tape, but it proved inconvenient when maintenance was required, as everything needed to be removed carefully.
