Built in 1872 as a home for the Hope #23 Engine Company, this building remains standing, though it no longer maintains its original configuration - this configuration is depicted within this model. Several different units have called this place home over the years. * The building housed Hope Eng. 3 from 1872 to 1877. * Aetna Eng. 3 occupied the space from 1877 onwards. * It served as St.P.F.D. Eng. 3 until its demolition in 1965. This organization is currently working on collecting and organizing historical fire stations, both past and present. These include several former stations in the St. Paul and Minneapolis area.
