STM32 F4 Nucleo Casing (with lid)
thingiverse
I needed a custom case for an STM32 F4 Nucleo board, so I designed and printed both the base and top parts. The design is cleverly crafted to hold the PCB in place without using any screws - instead, the end of the slot on the base part features a small wedge that grips the side of the PCB tightly. This innovative feature eliminates the need for additional fasteners. The lid and base are connected by sturdy dovetail joints and dowel pins, adding an extra layer of stability to the entire assembly. Printing the parts was relatively quick - the base took around three hours to complete, while the lid required approximately two hours. I've included the STEP files in case anyone wants to modify or customize the design, perhaps adding a personalized touch such as a nameplate on the casing. The 3D model used for this project is available online at https://grabcad.com/library/nucleo-board-1, providing a great starting point for any interested individuals who want to replicate or improve upon my design.
