STL Version of 608ZZ Bearing to V-Slot Maker Rail Wheel
thingiverse
We're making progress on converting a 608ZZ skate bearing (http://amzn.to/1NVRz20) into a V-Slot wheel for use with Maker Rail. Our setup includes top and bottom presses in bushing, plus two wheels - one complete, the other split into two. We encountered a tight fit that required a vice to press the wheel on firmly. A 1/4" spacer was also included (taking the top bushing's height into consideration). While it's still a work in progress, this project appears worth while, especially considering we're saving $4 each over purchasing standard V-Slot wheels - their high cost can quickly add up when working on various projects.
