STL to NURBS - Reverse Engineer Scan Data

A client unexpectedly requested the conversion of scan data STL into a suitable IGES file for manufacturing purposes. The attached images showcase the process, and if there's enough interest, a tutorial could be produced. The steps involved are as follows: inspecting/repairing the scan data, wrapping a NURBS surface around it (although the topology may not meet expectations), manually recreating the model in SolidWorks, comparing the solid model with original scan data using deviation analysis, and rendering to enhance its appearance. Despite proposing the bill, no response has been received from the client. As it remains unpaid, only the 'ugly wrapped NURBS' is uploaded, and the challenge of modeling it in preferred software awaits. The model appears to be a door handle mount.
