Stitchable Embroidery Thread Box
thingiverse
This remix of the box by jprofesorek features a lattice of holes punched in both the box and its lid, enabling cross stitching. The box's dimensions are carefully crafted to accommodate two rows of embroidery floss on standard skeins, with nine or ten skeins per row. Holes measuring three quarters of a millimeter in diameter are strategically spaced to form an eight-stitch-per-inch grid. To optimize the design further, I significantly thinned both the box and its lid, reducing filament usage and making it easier to pass a needle through.
