Creating a new character for the very first time was a fascinating experience, one that allowed me to tap into my creativity and push the boundaries of what's possible. My project focused on an alien from the beloved cartoon series Lilo and Stitch, a model crafted using 3ds Max. Once the basic shape was established, I unwrapped the character in Rizom UV, preparing it for the next stages of development. I turned my attention to texturing, utilizing Substance Painter's vast array of tools and brushes to breathe life into this extraterrestrial being. From its intricate details to its base textures, each element had a significant role in bringing the alien to life. To finalize the character, I moved on to rendering, leveraging the capabilities of Marmoset Toolbag 3. Not only did it allow me to refine my model and texture, but it also granted me the flexibility to work across various formats and engines with ease. For a more immersive experience, the asset comes pre-packaged with card assets tailored for integration into popular rendering and game development environments, including Marmoset Toolbag 3, Corona, Unreal Engine, and Unity. What's more, all textures have been crafted at a resolution of 4096 x 4096 pixels, ensuring every detail remains crisp and clear. To accommodate the diverse needs of artists working in different pipelines, this character set includes a wide range of format files: * Max (2018), offering compatibility with the latest 3ds Max features * Max (2015), ensuring users with older versions can still take advantage of these resources * FBX, a versatile format allowing seamless transfer between applications and engines * OBJ, a platform-independent file type ideal for collaborations across different software environments * 3DS, catering to users of earlier generations of 3D modeling software * An archive containing texture maps in the TGA format
