Stirling Motor - Hot Air Motor ( Motor de Aire Caliente)
grabcad
It is a thermal engine operating by compression and cyclical expansion of air, it can be considered external combustion and adiabatic process, since it does not require burning fuel inside and, when operating, it does not transfer heat to the environment. It was invented in 1816 by the Scottish reverend Robert Stirling who conceived it as a first engine designed to rival the steam engine. It is the only one capable of approaching (theoretically) the theoretical maximum performance (Carnot), although it would not serve as a car engine, because although its performance is superior, its power is inferior (with equal weight) and the optimal performance is only reached at low speeds.Elements that make up a conventional Stirling engine:1. Heating zone.2. Displacement cylinder.3. Flywheel.4. Crankshaft.5. Piston.6. Cilindro desplazador.3. Volante de inercia.4. Cigüeñal.5. Pistón.6. Quemador, fuente de calor
