Stirling engine of gamma type
thingiverse
It's a straightforward design for a Stirling engine of gamma type, created using SolidWorks. Originally developed as part of a high school project five years ago, this engine was fully functional and performed well when placed on a coffee cup. However, after conducting a Matlab simulation, the yield fell slightly short of normal expectations for a 3D printed Stirling engine. Feel free to enhance it! I've lost all images of the original engine due to carelessness; they remain at my former high school. Consequently, I haven't recreated it since, which is why no pictures are available. The rod was constructed using simple wire, the piston made from a piece of balloon, and the displacer crafted from extruded polystyrene. The hot plate and cold plate were manufactured from 2 millimeter sheet steel. I apologize for any English errors; I'm French.
