So...this is a remix of a remix of a remix...I think. I just made changes and additions to what I wanted but started with the source files of this remix. Changes made according to the pictures... No rounded corners. 1) I made an insert to use in the original size plate hole because as you can clearly see, that 250ml beaker would go right through and I didn't want to somehow limit the unit by making that hole smaller. With the insert in, the beaker sits at the same distance from the magnet as it would if there was no insert at all. 2) I already had a 12v potentiometer from a previous stir plate build (not 3d printed) that has its own built in on/off switch and power indicator light and I didn't think the digital readout was a necessity. 3) I used a 120mm size PC fan so A) the hole pattern on the top lid is different and B) the magnet holder was smaller in diameter than the fan base that I was using and I dint want to have to worry about getting it centered just right (to minimize wobble) while gluing it to the top of the fan. (The black material on the insert is electrical tape - it keeps the glass beaker from moving around from the little bit of vibration coming from the spinning fan) 4) Fan size - covered that already... 5) The barrel adapter I used for power had a different OD than the original hole and it doesn't use an exterior nut to hold itself in place. So I made one in the location I wanted in the rear panel with the added support so I could slap a bit of CA glue on the barrel and snug it into place. (No.. the fan is not on, I dremeled the fan blades off for less resistance and airflow during mixing because I dont have a lid for my short beaker and more "stuff" tends to float into the vape juice I am typically using this thing to mix up.)
