STILL Electrocart for 1-gauge and LGB ================================================ The Prototype: -------------- These electrocarts were widely used from the late 1950s until the 1990s for transporting luggage, post, and parcels on railway stations in Germany, Italy, and the Benelux countries. The manufacturer also exported some vehicles to Japan. Some examples were also used in industry. The Model: ---------- This model is designed for 1-gauge (1/32). Pictures show a model printed at 1/32 scale. For LGB, it can be printed enlarged with a factor of 1.5, resulting in a scale of 1/21.3, but can be used with 3mm axles. If the model is printed with another scale factor, the axles and rims must be drilled according to their size. Additional Needed Parts: ------------------------- - 2mm metal axles (3mm for LGB) How to Print: -------------- The model is printed in standard PLA plastic. Tires are printed in TPU. All parts are printed with support "touch build plate only." The front axle is printed lying flat, and the rear axle is printed upside-down with springs on the build plate. How to Assemble: ----------------- Handrails beside seats should be glued to the chassis. Note that rims for the front and rear axles are different. ### Front Axle: The front axle should be inserted at a 45-degree angle to one side. It will self-lock in a horizontal position.
