Sometimes business can be a cutthroat affair. This spring-loaded business card case delivers your card with lightning speed, catching the competition off guard while they're still fumbling for their wallets. Push out your card smoothly and effortlessly or snap it out with flair - either way, you'll seal the deal. Holds up to 20 business cards at a standard American size of 3.5 inches by 2 inches. Watch it in action: https://youtu.be/wHK3hb5xk-0 UPDATE (12/17/16): I've tweaked the friction lock that keeps the bottom part firmly in place, ensuring your card case works smoothly every time. Additionally, I've uploaded the Solidworks files for anyone who wants to hack on it and make their own improvements. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: M2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: To get the best results, print at exactly 0.2mm layer thickness so that the blank space underneath the spring prints correctly. Also, make sure the spring section is fully fused without any line separation - printing in PLA is recommended as ABS may not provide enough stiffness. Post-Printing: First, use an X-acto knife to carefully release the tabs and spring section from the rest of the top part. Then remove the built-in supports on the exit slot. Next, press the leaf springs into place in the slots at the bottom. After that, insert the slot cover piece into position. Finally, orient the button so it gets maximum travel out of its motion. To load your cards, first drop up to 20 business cards into the top part. Then, slide a couple of cards about halfway towards the back and compress the leading edge of the leaf springs against those cards as you slide the bottom on. Make sure the bottom is fully seated into the top for smooth operation.
