The Stihl Filling System is a game-changer. Simply screw it onto the petrol can and fill your chainsaw without worrying about spills. However, this system only works with Stihl cans filled with premium fuel. Initially, I used a different type of fuel and had to resort to using a funnel to pour it into the Stihl can. But then I created an adapter that works flawlessly. Please be aware that fuel can be hazardous, particularly if it's leaking from the can. Handle it with care! I recently upgraded my design to version 2, which features improved grip and a gasket for added security. Printing TPU allowed me to create a more effective seal, making it easier to secure the adapter tightly around the can. To test its tightness, gently press on the can - if you hear air escaping, it's not sealed properly. It's worth noting that I manufactured my adapter using PLA, but I'm uncertain about its durability. Use caution when handling this device and ensure it's securely attached to the can before use. For your safety, avoid leaving the adapter in place for extended periods and regularly check its tightness and stability. There is also an older version of the filling system available that features a gasket on the adapter itself, but none on the side. Despite this, my design proved to be airtight after tightening it securely onto the red can.
