Stiffener for Strike Signs or Posters
thingiverse
Tired of weak and floppy Strike signs? Or any other sign composed of paper stapled to wooden lath strips? These stiffeners put some backbone into your strike signs and help them to last longer. Remember, your Strike sign is what separates you from a Pedestrian! Just print them out, attach them to the top and bottom of your sign and cover them over with Gorilla Tape to give you a surprisingly rigid yet flexible Strike sign. These are sized for 6.3mm x 38mm (1/4" x 1-1/2") wood lath handles. and are small enough for standard-width Duct Tape to completely cover. You can easily alter the dimensions in PrusaSlicer to fit your signs. As they are very long and narrow it is best to print them in PETG to avoid warping. Also, they will be subjected to flexing and sometimes high temperatures, so PETG is again a good choice.
