Sticks & Lathers: The Suction Cup Soap Dish

<p>For some reason, my gym no longer has a convenient place to put your soap dish while taking a shower. So I've been balancing it on convenient ledges for the last month or so. Then it hit me, “Chris you have a 3D printer ya dummy”.&nbsp;</p><p>This and the very conveniently timed <a href="https://www.printables.com/contest/71-soap-dishes">Soap Dish contest</a> got my creative juices flowing. I took inspiration from a <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/72108-iphone-4-tripod-mount">tripod mount</a> I designed all the way back in 2011 and used suction cups to stick this sucker to the wall.&nbsp;</p><p>This is very much a work in progress and very much my first time working with printed hinges. I already see room for improvement, but why not get this guy out into the wild.</p><p>After printing slide the lid into the hinge and attach 2x 30mm suction cups.&nbsp;</p><p>Stick, soap, store.</p>
