Stick structure joint blocks
thingiverse
I crafted sturdy, minimalist blocks to connect some slender rods and build a robust framework. My goal was to prop up my tomato plants in a stable structure that could withstand the elements without compromising its integrity. To achieve this, I designed it to print flatly, eliminating the need for supports and minimizing Z-axis weakness. A brim was recommended for added stability. This design is optimized for 4mm barbecue skewers, but can be easily scaled up by adjusting the dimensions proportionally to accommodate thicker rods.
