A custom cover for using lipo batteries in cars designed for 7.2V ni-mh stick packs is available. It safeguards the battery against crash damage and shields the pack's edges from damage when used in a car with a rounded battery mounting frame, common in many Tamiya cars or older models. Specifically designed for a 2S 3300 mAh battery measuring 134 x 42.4 mm x 14.8 mm is option 01. Any pack equal to or smaller than these dimensions will fit. Option 02 is another design that fits similarly sized batteries, but it's more compact to accommodate "picky" Tamiya vintage cars and can hold various-sized lipos, mostly under 2S 2500 mAh. The Stickcover01 has the text "3300 mAh" printed on it. In contrast, Stickcover02 displays the Tamiya logo instead of the battery capacity. Option 03 is a hollowed-out design that's even slimmer to better fit cars with tight battery spaces, such as some Tamiyas. It works with various 2S 2500 and smaller lipos and features the Tamiya logo.
