St George emerges as a thoroughly legendary saint. He embodies the chivalrous ideal to perfection, making him a staple in various depictions - often shown riding his horse, clad in armor from head to toe. His most renowned exploit is undoubtedly the epic battle against a dragon, waged to rescue a princess, which he triumphantly won with divine intervention from Jesus himself - this battle symbolizes the ultimate victory of Faith over Evil.
