The Austro-Daimler M35 Panzerwagen ADGZ was a high-performance Austrian Army armored car impressed into German Army service in 1939, primarily deployed with police detachments during Poland's invasion. By 1941, Steyr was commissioned to produce an additional 25 new ADGZ vehicles for the SS military by Reichsführer-SS, which were completed and delivered in 1942. These vehicles played a significant role in combating partisans across Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
