I designed a replica of Target's Stevies #Yumm sneaker in children's size 4, scaled to 1:1 precision. I created the model using Rhino and took precise measurements with calipers. To ensure accuracy, I compared my design to real-life dimensions of the shoe. The shoe's toe and heel are slightly narrower than their actual counterparts, but this was done intentionally to reflect the original design. I built a scaffolding structure in Rhino based on these measurements, which allowed me to refine the model further. I'm eager for someone to 3D print the shoe using Ninjaflex and share the results with me. If you're willing to take on this challenge, please use the following print settings: Printer: Cubicon Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 10% Please note that when printing supports, be cautious of how they are handled on the side of the zipper. A single long column may not adhere to itself, and the zipper pull might not print correctly. Additionally, I've identified a few areas where the model could be improved. The wall facing inward is slightly too thin in the inner arch area, which may cause it to render as a hole during printing. During mesh repair, ridges on each side became independent slices, but this issue is still being worked on. This design is ongoing work and will continue to evolve until it meets my standards.
