A Stevenson screen is an essential outdoor shelter for meteorological sensors, such as those used with electronic home weather stations. Adhering to the World Meteorological Organization's (WMO) guidelines, the height of this screen should range between 1.25m and 2m. Its purpose is to create a consistent environment for measuring temperature, humidity, dew point, and atmospheric pressure by sheltering the instrument from direct sunlight and rain while ensuring unrestricted airflow through its louvered design. Assembly requires snapping together pre-printed parts in white color as per WMO standards, and securing it on a pole using a wood screw and washer.
