Steven's Cog Kit This educational toy has huge potential to be both entertaining and instructive. The kit comes equipped with a variety of cog and gear sizes, as well as connecting rods that allow for endless experimentation. Each individual cog is provided as an STL file, carefully named according to the number of teeth it possesses. This allows users to easily identify and organize their cogs. The cog frame is designed to accommodate the connecting rods, enabling cogs to be placed in countless positions. The frame also features a space specifically tailored for a small CD-ROM motor. By printing the Cog21 (For Motor) cog, users can power their cogs with the motor, although some adjustments may be necessary depending on the motor used. If you prefer not to use a motor, there's an included cog97 that comes equipped with a handle. Simply print the cog (Cog97 (With Handle)) and the accompanying handle (Handle For Cog97), then assemble them together. To complete your set, you'll also need to print out some connecting rods to attach the cogs to the frame. A spacer is also included - a cog without teeth that can be used to raise cogs above the frame. The best approach is to simply print all the parts and start experimenting. With this kit, most importantly, have fun!
