I had a Dual 1225 turntable that consistently failed to initiate or complete its cycle. One potential solution involved replacing the steuerpimple glider pad, but I wasn't convinced this was the root cause and purchasing authentic pads from Revisound in Germany would require shipping (http://www.revisound.com/). To verify whether a new pad was necessary, I decided to 3D print one. Although genuine Revisound pads undoubtedly function better, the printed steuerpimple successfully resolved my issue.
