Stethoscope
thingiverse
This toy stethoscope operates efficiently, allowing me to faintly hear my own heartbeat. However, it may not be a viable option for hospital use. Print either the one-piece diaphragm or separate diaphragm and bell, gluing them together if necessary; the former might have difficulty with support removal. Additionally, apply acetone to close any holes in the stethoscope. Print a membrane, adhering foil or paper on its non-flat side, then place it inside the diaphragm using Blu-tak, facing outwards. Attach plastic tubes (recommended 1CM diameter) to the bell's outlets for completion. Test your functioning stethoscope by inserting the tubes into your ears and listening for a heartbeat. The OpenSCAD source file is provided for adjustments to suit various tube sizes.
