The model was created using local resources at Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1216198) and a customized script hosted on JSFiddle (http://jsfiddle.net/threonin/6dr8qu41). It boasts an impressive 500x500 pixels in size, yet managed to finish generating during a movie night, leading me to speculate that the revised script had significantly improved processing speed. Originally, I'd opted for creating multiple polyhedrons, but with the introduction of vector operations in OpenSCAD's latest version, the model's complexity skyrocketed, producing even more vertices than before. A notable limitation arises around the edges where holes tend to shrink to unmanageable sizes, potentially posing a challenge for most printers. Additionally, reduced light transmission becomes a concern due to excessive detailing at these areas. With high-resolution settings in mind, minimizing edge intricacies would be a wise decision.
