It converts a digital image into a three-dimensional sphere for immersive, stereoscopic viewing. Requirements * Python 3 * OpenCV * OpenSCAD * dotSCAD How to Use It 1. Launch OpenSCAD and open the file stereographic_caterpillar.scad. 2. Follow the steps outlined in the img2gray tutorial to prepare your image for conversion. 3. Copy the contents of the text file into a new document and replace the value of levels with your desired setting. 4. Preview your model to ensure the shadow is accurate, then press F6 to render the 3D sphere. 5. Note that the shadow will not be rendered in the final output.
