Stereo microscope light ring using neopixel LEDs

Stereo microscope light ring using neopixel LEDs

The concept took shape from Thingiverse's project #2331410, but I've taken a different approach. To achieve lower magnification, I'm utilizing a 0.5x lens. Preliminary trials indicated that the illumination provided by only one ring was insufficient; to address this issue, I opted for two Adafruit Neopixel rings. To accommodate these components, I designed a new mounting system for the 0.5X lens channel and modified the LED casing. This has resulted in a two-part assembly: a black PLA component attached to the lens and a clear PLA case housing the Neopixel LED rings. The latter is also responsible for dispersing light.
