Stereo Camera Mount for 250mm Quadcopter
thingiverse
I need two cameras to capture depth perception when flying in FPV mode. This bracket holds two cameras and two transceivers and bolts onto the quadcopter frame with three screws. Once snapped into place, both cameras will look straight ahead without adjustment. The inter-pupillary distance of the mounted cameras is 31.8mm, similar to a cat's or small simian eyes, so your depth perception will be a bit more shallow than that of a normal human and it's naturally ideal for navigating jungle-like conditions. From my point of view, everything nearby does appear larger and you may be able to leverage this to maneuver through tighter spaces more responsively. Designed to be mounted onto the Mini Flame Wheel Quadcopter: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:34552 If you found this useful, please make sure you share a picture (it makes my day each time someone prints something I designed) and peruse my other submissions which are almost as varied as they are many: http://www.thingiverse.com/3E8/designs. Enjoy! Oh, and special thanks to Frida the cat for letting me put calipers right up to her eyes. Such a mellow ball of fuzz.
