I am assembling a 3D printer with dimensions of 220mm by 270mm by 300mm. PLA printed bearings are mounted directly onto the 2020 aluminum extrusion, which is secured to 30mm by 30mm aluminum box sections. They run smoothly after initial bedding in, and so far they show no signs of wear despite 60 prints. However, I have already printed a new set.
