Experiencing my first 3D Knot print, it functioned seamlessly using my cupcake CNC, modified to incorporate an Mk7 Stepstruder. The upgrade delivered exceptional results, enhancing print quality by tenfold! This adaptation involves a Mk7 Stepstruder, stepper driver, and additional microcontroller interface that monitors DC motor operation, generating consistent frequency pulse trains for the extruder's stepper motor. Remarkably, ReplicatorG remains oblivious to these changes, perceiving a DC motor in control of the extrusion process.
