Stepper mount for 2020 rail
thingiverse
This is a clamping NEMA 17 stepper mount built specifically for use on 2020 rail systems. I've found it to be ideal for securing my bowden extruder in place. The design takes inspiration from a remix of the original stepper mount created by AndrewBCN, which can be found at thing #528934 - another clever reworking of an existing concept. To assemble this mount, you'll need to secure one M3 20mm bolt and nut in order to tighten the clamp firmly into place. Additionally, a single M5 16mm bolt is required for mounting the 2020 rail component, while an M5 T-slot nut serves as a crucial fastening point. An OpenSCAD source file has been included with this design, complete with proper attribution to paenian - a true master of his craft. The latest iteration of this mount, version 2B, boasts improved spacing between the clamp and the block that fits snugly into the 2020 extrusion.
