Stepper Motor Vehicle Axle Mount - Arduino basic kit.

I'm making a basic R/C car from the Arduino starter kit. First, I need to mount the stepper motor to an axle for the rear drive wheels. The minimalist mount is included, but I'll likely attach it to a chassis using two bolts already used in the project. I want to avoid using any extra parts, so I'm currently missing an axle (mine's 1.88mm diameter, probably supposed to be 2mm) and M4 bolts. Next, I plan to create mounts for the servo for steering at the front, Arduino board, wheels, IR receiver, maybe Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, or even GPS! This is just the beginning. The picture shows one of each gear and mount - the power gear goes on the stepper, tight gear grips the axle, and loose gear is for balance (maybe I'll add a differential later). Print Settings Printer: Reprap Prusa i3 2017 model from kit. Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: Using default settings with PLA. Post-Printing The drive gear is a tight push onto the stepper, and the tight gear is a tight push onto the axle. It might need adjusting for your printer or filament. How I Designed This I used FreeCAD to create this design. I'm getting better at it - started by setting out hole centers, then adding lines, arcs, and tangents. I tried tweaking tower sizes, spacing, and hole sizes for tight and loose fits. The final picture is an earlier prototype with posts too close together, so I had to clip the drive gear tips. It still fit and meshed in the end.
