Stepper motor snapfit fan-less cooling
thingiverse
I'll have to replace the stepper motor if it's getting too hot. I've got a Snap-on module that should fix the problem with just 2mm thick heatsink. Generally speaking, when a stepper motor is so hot you can't even touch it, there's probably too much current running through it. Checking your board for options to dial back power could also help resolve the issue right away.
