This mount allows you to attach a NEMA 17 stepper motor with planetary gearbox to a CPC1100 or EDGE HD 1100 focus dial. There is also an insert that must be lightly press-fit into the brass focuser barrel. This is excluded so that you can fine-tune it for your motor and print. This allows you to use Robert Brown's MyFocuser on SourceForge. This can be useful for controlling focus in observatories, at educational events (so that nobody touches the focus) or anything else.
