Stepper Motor Cooling Shroud for Hypercube Evolution
prusaprinters
This shroud is designed for the Hypercube Evolution printer. Features: Can be installed without printer disassembly Mounts a 40 x 10mm Fan Material: 6 M3 x 16mm screws (4 for the fan and 2 for the shroud) 2 M5 x 8mm with Hammer Head nuts. Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX or equivalent size. A thicker fan can be used, but the mounting screw length will need adjustment. (Maximum screw length = Fan thickness + 6mm) Update: I installed this originally on my old motors, which continually got hot after installing TMC2208 drivers. The fans cooled the motors but the damage had already been done. I replaced the motors, and have been running with these coolers on my HEVO for more than a month. The motors now run cool. Print Settings Printer: Anycubic Kossel Delta Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 30% Filament: 3D Solutech PLA Real Black Notes: Set the slicer to print outer walls before inner walls. This increases the accuracy of printed walls so that the M3 screw threads print correctly. If the M3 screws do not fit, then the printer may be printing undersized. Print as oriented in the stl's. It's designed to print without supports with minor bridging. Category: 3D Printer Parts
