Effortlessly cool your Ultimaker's X, Y, and E steppers by fitting 40mm fans with these simple printable mounts. As heat reduction can increase stepper lifetime, these mounts are a great addition to your printer. Although heatsinks may offer more cooling, these mounts still provide significant improvement. To install, simply print two XY mounts and one E mount, then secure them using 2 M3x16 screws directly into the printed holes. Ensure a tight fit by adding blue tape on the plywood clipping area if necessary. The E mount can be positioned either above or under the motor for flexibility in installation. Solidworks and IGS files are available for easy access.
