Stepper Damper Dämpfer Nema 17 Washer

I wanted to tame my printer's roar and thought creating a washer from flexfilament would be a great way to muffle it and reduce the noise. I decided on a washer because using a standard damper allows vibrations to spread across the entire surface of the stepper into the printer, whereas with a washer, only a small area touches the printer. So, I was hoping that this modification would work and it did. I can confidently say that 50% of the vibration is reduced after installing these washers. Check out the first picture to see the space between the stepper and printer. You might need to tweak your pulley slightly. My setup is a Prusa MK2, and I used a 3mm washer for the X-Axis Stepper and a 2mm washer for the Y-Axis Stepper. Print settings were as follows: First layer at 205°C, second layer at 200°C, heatbed set to 0°C, and infill at 20%.
