Stepped Raft for Bottom Up Resin Printers
thingiverse
Detachment of a print from the build plate on bottom-up resin printers is a prevalent print failure. The ratio of surface area attached to the build plate to the cross-sectional area of the part dictates this issue. Implementing a stepped raft provides increased surface area attached to the build plate, and since the edges of the raft are gradually thinner, there's no warping or curling at the edges of the raft. This results in significantly reduced print failures due to prints detaching from the build plate. Other techniques can also enhance build plate adhesion; you can view a tutorial video on those methods here: https://youtu.be/DBmKDi4QXH0
