Grommets safeguard cables/wires as they traverse panels. Step grommets cater to a variety of cable diameters using a single component since their diameter can be trimmed to fit during installation. Only one manufacturer offers them, and they aggressively overcharge for small orders. A new alternative is now available! Printed from eSun brand 'eLastic' filament: http://amzn.to/2sqaDQe (I also attempted using a semi-flex material but the outcome was too rigid. High flexibility is essential.) Shown- two standard grommets on the left and an example of all three printed models. Notes: The name of each STL file indicates the part's outer diameter, which is the panel hole drill size. The inner diameter represents the maximum cable diameter it can support. If you need to resize the model, select the closest one in size from these three since they were all adjusted to have 1.5mm thick walls.
