Stepped Double Door Frame
thingiverse
I designed this part to snap onto the edge of a 1mm thick plexiglass sheet that serves as a door for my printer enclosure. By printing multiple copies of this piece along with identical corner pieces and other flat parts for the top and bottom edges, I can give the thin plexiglass enough stability. This component features a stepped joint where I attach magnetic strips to guarantee a tight seal at the center where the doors intersect. The 2mm wide gap is where these strips are inserted.
