This is a kit for building a replica of the locomotive Rocket from 1829. It's an uncommon model in train sets, but it would be fantastic to have one on my garden railway, which I now do, thanks to www.utj.se. The Replicator 2X ABS was used to print this model. A model railway isn't required to print this kit - you can display it on a shelf or use it as a toy instead. The Rocket that I made a 3D design of in Nov 2014 has gained popularity and been downloaded over 16,000 times since then. You can find engine installation guides for this model at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:585593. The corresponding wagon can be found here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:575549. A suitable new coach is available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1175018, while tracks and sleepers for the rails can be seen on this link http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:507264. Sleeper parts for the rail tracks can be found here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:38609, as well as a Railway Buffer Stop http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:507254. Instructions Files updated April 2019: Changing the Cylinder files means that they're now mirrored so that it looks right on The Rocket model. I'm sorry about this error; however, mistakes sometimes occur. The new files are numbers 06 and 07, followed by 2019 for easy reference. Since my pictures of The Rocket here show cylinders in the wrong position due to outdated photos, but your assembly kit will have the correct parts going forward, starting from April 2019. This construction kit is specifically designed to be assembled piece by piece. To do this efficiently you may want use Acetone for glue. Here's a picture showing which STL file belongs with each model component in the box, however one piece that includes suport does require special care because it's a little fragile. A file no 10, the pieces are required to hold each other in place securely with support might be necessary due to how its constructed and the size, the wheels that can move must use these tiny parts as indicated to properly maintain their functionality while in place so the movement can still occur efficiently If required make sure any holes for fitting components have been pre drilled in the areas specified on picture before assembly starts.
