Stephen's Toy Reactor MK1 with increased Tolerances
thingiverse
The Replicator 2 of my MakerBot doesn't meet the precision needed for Stephen's impressive Toy Reactor MK1, so I had to edit the files to make everything fit properly. Fortunately, all components can now print without supports since a part requiring them has built-in support. Print one set of each item except five Fuel Rods and five Rod Followers. The only unaltered piece is the flow splitter, which is visible only when printing the Middle Housing in clear. I assembled the parts using superglue, preventing rods from falling out by adding blocks to the rod followers. If requested, I can modify the Middle Housing to include a built-in backstop. The Homer Simpson shown in the picture is thing 179990.
